It’s been quite the ride from quarantine “hunker-downer” to an internationally known podcaster who has listeners in 32 countries. Who took an idea about pageantry and turned it into a sought-after podcast? Leah Kate Hadder, now a Life Network for Women Content Creator. Leah knows “reigning” matters, not just in the pageant world but in life. She reigns over adversity, fear, and setbacks. In fact, her first pageant competition gave her a solid foundation in all those elements: She lost! How did this “loser” go on to launch a podcast that reaches folks in 32 countries? She honed her skills in communication, etiquette, poise, and stage presence, all the while applying wisdom from the Lord and His Word. Leah Kate Hadder learned a key lesson from that first pageant: winners are losers who keep on trying. Her diligence paid off with awards, crowns, titles, a cover feature on a pageant magazine, TV appearances, and interviews on other podcasts. It wasn’t long until she expanded her roles in pageants from contestant to organizer/director, judge, emcee, and coach. In late 2019 – shortly before the COVID-19 quarantine hit - she expanded even further with her own pageant consulting. From there, a podcast SASH Says soon launched with a mission to connect pageants, people, and purpose. Known for her spunky style, Leah and her podcast guests delve into their experiences in reigning not only with titles but also over adversity, fear, and setbacks as well so her listeners can easily take away practical advice and upbeat inspiration. Three Miss Americas, a Miss Universe contestant, and many other accomplished guests have appeared on the podcast.
It’s been less than 2 years since Leah launched her now internationally known podcast and about 18 years since she lost that first pageant. What made the difference? Leah’s ready to teach you all she’s learned! She now speaks and writes about her pageant experiences and lessons God taught her when competing. Formerly coaching ladies how to reign in pageantry, she now shares how to “royally” reign in life (2 Timothy 2:12). Through her writing, she discusses the love of God and how to apply His written Word in everyday living. Her articles have been featured in both online and written publications including: GoodNews Christian Magazine, Just Moved Ministry’s guest stories, and Her View From Home. Two of her articles posted to Her View From Home have received over 1,000 views each. Leah’s dream and passion is for women across the world to feel encouraged and equipped through Christ to handle life’s daily obstacles, which is evident in her writing. She strives to give women hope to persevere through tough times. She frequently writes about various topics such as the Christian walk, faith, identity, singleness, and trusting God. She has served in ministry roles such as: Bible Study speaker, Children’s Church director, Youth pastor, and volunteer Sunday School teacher. She has recently fulfilled the role of Team Leader of the “His Daily Bread” video devotional team of Changing Crowns Ministries. Known as a bold communicator and dynamic speaker, she has spoken to audiences of all ages across Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. Leah is a coffee enthusiast, an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her adorable and spoiled rescue cat, Suzie Q. She resides in the beautiful state of Tennessee.
